Description

Fast Retailing, which includes Princesse tam tam, which specialises in lingerie, and Comptoir des Cotonniers, a women's clothing brand, will be closing this year, leaving around 500 redundancies all around France. The two brands are part of Fast Retailing France, a Japanese group that also owns Uniqlo.

Facing the retail sale crisis that have impacted many other brands, like C&A, has fatally impacted the two French brands. After three internal restructuring that resulted in jobs losses for both brands, recorded in the ERM Events database: in 2023, 304 jobs were lostFast Retailing France 2023 - FR, in 2021, 285 jobs losses Fast Retailing 2021 - FR and 2018, 50 jobs losses. Fast Retailing 2018 - FR.

Finally, in 2025, all shops of Princesse tam tam and Comptoir des Cotonniers will be closing.
