Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Intuitive Surgical, a US-based medical technology company that operates in the healthcare sector, announced the creation of 110 new jobs (with a possibility to expand to 300 people) with the opening of a new production facility in Parvomay, Southern Bulgaria. The positions are primarily in production and engineering. The facility covers over 17,000 sq. m. of office and production space, located in two buildings.
It is the company's first facility in Bulgaria and the third in Europe, following Germany. The investment amounts to 42 million euros. The jobs created are full-time and encompass both blue-collar and technical positions. The factory will produce key components for robotic surgical systems used worldwide.
Intuitive Surgical is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, best known for its DaVinci Surgical System.
