Description

Allgaier France, the French subsidiary of the German Allgaier Group, is set to lay off 200 employees following the closure of its Moselle site in April 2026. The site manufactures stamping parts. The company was originally bought by Allgaier, which was later acquired by the Chinese Westron Group. Two years ago, German courts put the group into financial restructuring, a process that has taken a long time. The trade unions are frustrated by the situation. A takeover is the only solution to stop the closure. The site's primary client is Daimler.
