Description

AISIN Europe Manufacturing, a subsidiary of the globally active Japanese automotive supplier AISIN Corporation, has recently opened a new manufacturing hall in Písek, where the company will produce a complete engine for BMW electric cars, creating 180 jobs in 2025 and 2026.

Job positions at the new plant will include all levels of education from engineers, specialists, technicians, operators and other production managers. AISIN also plans to target recent graduates. Parts of the production will be automated; however, AISIN is aiming to increase employment in the region. The reason for this is that by expanding production to include electric motors, the Písek plant will become a key pillar of AISIN's European strategy. The latest investment of CZK 4.5 billion (€ 185 million) will ultimately create over 300 new jobs until the serial production of engines begins in 2027.

AISIN has been producing in Czechia since 2003 and currently employs over 800 people in Písek.
