Description
CTS Group, a Swiss multinational in the data centre sector, will strengthen its operations in Portugal with plans to generate more than 2,000 jobs in the short term. This expansion is part of the company’s global growth strategy and aims to position CTS Portugal as one of the leading players in the digital infrastructure market, driven by the growing demand in this sector.
Established in Portugal since last year, the group already concentrates a significant share of its operations. At present, it operates 11 companies dedicated to the design, development, construction and maintenance of data centres.
The direct connection to major international markets through a large number of submarine fibre optic cables, the abundance of renewable energy, and access to the Atlantic Ocean as a resource for server cooling are decisive factors in the business' location decision of Portugal.
