Description
Mühlböck Holztrocknungsanlagen GmbH, an Austrian manufacturer of wood drying systems, has invested €22 million in a new facility in Eberschwang, Upper Austria, creating around 100 new jobs in production, logistics, administration, and R&D. The new site, located next to the existing headquarters, is designed as a future “wood drying campus” combining production, research, training, and technology transfer.
The facility includes a 6,500 m² production hall equipped with robotics and Industry 4.0 systems to enhance efficiency and flexibility. Around 100 employees have already moved to the site, and further growth is planned.
Jobs created are permanent, skilled positions, with local suppliers playing a major role in construction and equipment. The project was supported by EU funding (ERDF) and welcomed by regional stakeholders as a boost to local economic development.
