Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The German renewable energy provider Westfalen Weser announced in a press release that it will create 120 new jobs throughout 2025.
The company is headquartered in Paderborn (North-Rhine Westphalia) and wants to attract more employees by developing a modern work environment that fits young workers' needs. The company is refocussing its business and currently invests into new (digital) solutions to manage electricity networks more efficiently. It also announced plans to work on innovative solutions to make carbon-neutral energy supply possible.
Westfalen Weser currently employs 1,200 workers.
