Description

Bosch, a German engineering and electronics company, will lay off 170 employees at Jucu plant (Cluj County) in Romania by the end of 2025. The positions affected include shift supervisors, line supervisors, and technicians.

Company representatives confirmed that Jucu plant is undergoing a process of adaptation to structural changes at the global automotive industry, to a difficult economic context and in a market transitioning to new production models.

The company mentioned that the process is being carried out in accordance with the principles of transparency and fairness and that affected employees are receiving support measures: compensation packages in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and the possibility of relocation to other departments or units of the group.

At Jucu the company has a workforce of 3,300 people.
