The Memc Electronic Materials S.p.A. site marks a strategic milestone for European semiconductor supply chains and demonstrates concrete confidence in Italian industrial and technological capabilities.
The inauguration ceremony featured Italian government representatives, Senate and Chamber of Deputies members, European Parliament officials, Piedmont Region authorities, and Novara Mayor. The project received €103 million in R&D funding through the second microelectronics IPCEI program, recognizing Fab300's strategic role promoting European technological autonomy.
