Description

Orange Polska, a leading telecommunications operator, has confirmed that 540 employees will leave the company in 2026 under a newly signed social agreement, as part of a broader restructuring in Poland.

The voluntary departures are part of a wider programme under which up to 1,000 employees are expected to leave by the end of 2027, aimed at improving operational efficiency and supporting the company’s long-term strategy.

Job reduction measures will primarily take the form of voluntary departures, supported by severance payments, additional compensation linked to length of service, and enhanced packages for employees approaching retirement age. For employees whose contracts may be terminated by the employer, the agreement includes access to job-search and outplacement support.

Orange Polska is one of the country’s largest telecom operators, employing about 8,300 workers, and has carried out similar workforce adjustment programmes in previous years in 2021 and 2019. Please see: Orange Polska 2021 - PL, Orange Polska 2019 - PL
