European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Naval Group, a French defence and shipbuilding group, is recruiting 1,500 employees across its four sites in Var over the next five years. A wide array of positions will be available, including roles in maintenance operations, and systems conception. Recruitment will take place in Ollioules, Toulon, Saint-Tropez, and La Londe-les-Maures. The latter site is under construction and is expected to be completed by 2027.
The French Minister of Labour and Solidarity has confirmed that the national employment organisation, France Travail, will assist with this recruitment process, and has emphasised the importance of closer cooperation between educational institutions and employers.
Several large-scale restructurings have been recorded in the ERM database Naval group 2025 - FR.
