European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Max Bögl, a German construction group, announced the opening of its new prefabrication plant in Tauernfeld at the beginning of May 2026.
The factory will create 100 new jobs, mainly in research and development, 3D printing and robotics. The new plant is planned to employ up to 200 workers in the future.
The expansion reflects the company’s strategy to integrate advanced digital technologies and sustainable building materials into its production. The initiative underscores a shift toward green and digital transformation, positioning the firm as a leading innovator in the construction sector.
Max Bögl employs around 7,000 people worldwide across 40 locations.
