Description

MongoDB, a U.S. database software company, announced the creation of 200 new jobs at its Irish operation. The expansion involves its international headquarters in Dublin and a new office in Cork and is set to be completed by the end of 2027.

The company is expanding its Irish presence as part of a €74 million investment aimed at boosting its hybrid workforce by more than 50 % by 2027, bringing total employee numbers from 300 to 500.

This growth is driven by the need to support the building of agentic AI applications in production and to provide a unified data platform for modern, multi-cloud, and AI-centric solutions.

The new jobs will be based in the Cork and Dublin offices, with roles including engineering, product development, and customer-facing teams.
