Description

Paprika, a Belgian retail chain, announced the closure of its remaining 30 stores across Belgium, resulting in the loss of 151 jobs – 122 employees working directly in the outlets and an additional 29 staff based at the central distribution centre.

The shutdown follows a court-ordered bankruptcy that was declared on 26 June after no buyer emerged during the legal reorganisation proceedings that began on 5 March. The closure marks the final phase of Paprika’s liquidation, with all operations ceasing in Belgium by early July.
