European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In the frame of the restructuring of the TUI Group, TUI Leisure Travel (travel agencies) has to close some its 530 offices. 300 jobs (full-time equivalents) will be lost until June 2003 and 200 more until the end of the year. The dismissed employees will benefit of the opportunity to receive a training in order to help them finding a new job.
