European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Thomas Cook works across the travel value chain : airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel and incoming agencies. The group has announced a radical restructuring plan that will result in major job losses worldwide and the closing of agencies and hotels. This announcement follows rumours of catastrophic financial results.
