Description

The French multinational Sekurit Saint-Gobain company which produces glass for the automotive sector and is part of the Saint-Gobain group announced a reorganisation of its plant based in Savigliano. The job reduction should involve 17 blue-collar workers and 15 white-collar workers. Negotiations with the unions are under way. Future prospects for the Savigliano plant might be linked also to a shift to producing high-tech glass for computer screens and television sets.
