European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The company Vishay announced its relocation. The measure will affect 130 workers. The company gave as a reason the relocation of part of the production and equipment to India, where labour is cheaper. Vishay is installed in Portugal since 1969 where it employs 266 people.
