European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Japanese producer of silicon carbide diesel particulate filters NGK Ceramics Polska expands its investment in Poland. The total value of the investment in the Gliwice plant will exceed € 150 million. Thanks to the new project new jobs will be created and thus employment in the factory will exceed 1,000 people at the end of 2005.
The production of Silicon Carbide Diesel Particulate Filter is directed mostly at European automotive suppliers, such as German automotive OEM manufacturers.
