European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The largest telecommunication company in Denmark, TDC, the former state owned Tele Danmark, announced in February 2005 that 630 employees will be dismissed during 2005. The number of direct dismissals is not known yet since the TDC will first see how measures of early retirement can be implemented.
