European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Otis Elevators Co., the world's largest manufacturer, installer and maintainer of elevators, escalators, moving walkways and other people-moving systems, opened a new assembly shop in Břeclav on 21 March 2005. The investment of 285 million CZK will create more than 100 new jobs by the end of 2005. The plant in Břeclav should become the main supplier of escalators and elevators in Europe.
