European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The company Creaciones Ducal is specialised in the manufacture of textiles and is based in Alzira (Castellón, Valencia). On 6 April 2005, the company announced it was studying the reorganisation of 80% of its workforce, 120 employees out of 150, which would shift contract from fixed to discontinuous, as the poor markets conditions leave the workers unemployed 80 days per year.
