The South Korean company Donghee has responded to demands of Kia Motors and will build a new production unit in nearby Žilina in value of around SKK 1.4 billion. According to the representative of the Strečno municipality there are no problems foreseen with the ground ownership because the new plant will be located in the local industrial park. Company has started with hiring the employees. New investment is considered as very helpful for the development of the region where the unemployment rate is between 13 and 17%.
