European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Nemocnica Želiezovce Hospital, which is managed by the local municipality, had problems with keeping the required health care quality standards and therefore its operation was suspended. The hospital is very important for the region because it provides health care service not only for inhabitants of the city Želiezovce but also for people living in the neighbouring 27 communities in the region.
Local government looks for some potential investor to recover the operation of the hospital as soon as possible. However, most of the staff became temporarily redundant.
