European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A proposed new Tesco store in Lockerbie could deliver between 150 and 200 jobs for the town, according to the company. Planners are recommending approval for the major development at a site on Goods Station Road. A spokesman for Tesco said it had found that new stores reduced the number of people travelling further afield to do their shopping. 'It is really too early for us to say how many jobs but, potentially, 150 to 200.'
