A factory for solid waste and bio-waste will be built in Shumen in 14 months time, starting from the autumn of 2007, announced Mr. Stefan Terziev, representative of ICS International Consulting SP and executive director of Biogroup AD, Shumen. The expected investment amounts to Euro 49 million. The municipality will give needed land for the factory, which is about 200,000 sq.m. on the territory of the future Hi-tech park. The new factory will create about 100 jobs. Experts expect that no less then 2 million tons of waste will be worked out to diesel, high–octane petrol, asphalt and other products.
