European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Médiamétrie, a company that measures TV shares and carries out market research activities, announced on 19 October 2006 that on 1 January 2007 it will open up a new branch in the north of France, in Petit Quevilly (Seine Maritime). This unit is expected to create 110 new jobs, recruitment taking place between 1 November and 31 December 2006.
Mediamétrie, created back in 1985, carried out 1.2 million contacts by telephone and the Internet in 2006, which led to a sales turnover of 43 million euro. The company has another centre in Amiens, with a workforce of 440 employees.
