Description
The commercial court of Bordeaux, in the south-west of France, announced on 30 October 2006 that Société d'embouteillage du Dehez (SED), the largest producer of red wine in Gironde, is bankrupt and has to be closed on 1 November 2006.
The decision was made due to the important financial difficulties the company had and the fact that no other enterprise proposed to buy SED. As a result of this 128 employees are to lose their jobs.
