European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
MWS Casting Company decided to invest in Slovakia. It will establish a new production unit in Hliník nad Hronom. Aluminium casting alloys will be produced and manufactured there. Up to 60 new jobs will be created in the production plant till the end of 2008. This figure will increase up to 120 in the next years. Aliminium elements will be delivered to companies operating in the automotive industry. The mother company is an important subcontractor for distinguished car producers Audi, Daimler, Porsche, BMW and Opel.
