The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Euro Disney and Pierre et Vacances announced on 13 February 2007 their joint venture on the project Villages Natures, which is scheduled to open in 2008. Villages Nature is going to offer 25,000 beds near the Disneyland Paris theme park in Marne la Vallee near Paris. It will have up to 5,000 holiday houses and apartments and leisure amenities in an area covering 130,000 square metres. The resort is expected to be fully completed over the next 15 to 20 years, with an investment amounting to 1.8 billion euro. In its first stage, to be launched in 2008, the project will already create up to 9,000 direct jobs.
