European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French branch of online retailer Amazon announced on 5 April 2007 that it is to open a second distribution centre in Sarran, in France's Loiret region, which will create 200 jobs between January 2008 and January 2010. The warehouse will open in stages, from the end of 2007. Recruitment will also be staggered over the next three years. Amazon has had a presence in France for seven years and already has a distribution centre in Boigny-sur-Bionne, also in the Loiret region.
