European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
South Korean Hansol LCD decided to run its business also in Slovakia. Hansol Company will establish its Slovak subsidiary in Voderady where a new Samsung investment will take place. So called "black light units" will be produced there. Up to 1,800 new jobs will be created in the new production plant spreading over 5,800 square metres. Though the production timeline was not yet announced, it should be in line with the timeline of the Samsung investment.
