Atlas Copco, a firm that manufactures industrial machinery and equipment, is to create 200 new jobs across Sweden. The announcement follows the news that the second quarter results for 2007 were the best ever recorded by the firm. The firm will subsequently increase its investment in Sweden, and this will lead to the new jobs being created. The size of Atlas Copco’s existing workforce in Sweden is 3140, and it is not yet known in which regions of Sweden the jobs will be based. Atlas Copco provides products and services for firms that range from compressed air and gas equipment, generators, construction and mining equipment, industrial tools and assembly systems.
