European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tallink Grupp, a group engaged in a diverse range of business activities, is to create 100 new jobs in Tallinn with the development of a taxi company. The new branch of Tallink Grupp, Tallink Takso, will hire 50 taxi drivers by the start of 2008 and a further 50 by the end of January 2008. Tallink Takso will hire the drivers as full time employees. Tallink Grupp identified the long waiting times and low service levels of current taxi operations in Tallinn as the reason for their decision. Tallink Grupp is primarily a passenger and cargo shipping company. It also operates two hotels in Tallinn.
