The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Stavební podnik Klatovy, a firm that operates in the construction sector, has announced the dismissal of approximately 250 of its employees in the city of Klatovy with effect from 25th October 2007. The dismissals follow the firm going into administration at the end of July 2007 due to financial difficulties. It has been reported that workers at the firm were unpaid by the company in the two months leading up to the dismissals on 25th October 2007.
