European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Systems Sunlight S.A., a leading producer and distributor of energy products and systems, announced the creation of 150 new jobs with an investment of EUR 50 million in the development of a new plant in Xanthi which will produce recycling lead batteries. Employment at the new plant is expected to commence in June 2008 and the new jobs will be created by June 2009. The company currently runs six advanced production lines with more than 450 specialized engineers, technicians and workers.
