Description
Alcoa Fujikara Czech announced the cut of 850 jobs at their production facility in Stříbro in July and August 2008. The job reduction is due to the unfavourable CZK exchange rate. It was reported that a part of the company’s production will be moved to Romania. Alcoa Fujikara Czech, currently employing 2,050 staff, manufactures wiring harness systems and it is a subsidiary of the world leader in the production of primary aluminium that serves aerospace, automotive, construction and other industries.
