Description
Uniq, a company that operates in the food manufacturing sector, has announced that it is to close its Riviera Desserts factory in Paignton with the loss of 350 jobs. The company stated that it was closing the factory to consolidate its operations after making a pre-tax loss of £44.1m in 2007. 50 staff will be made redundant this summer, with a further 100 leaving in the autumn. The remaining 200 will be phased out next year.
