Description

German Leier Baustoffe Group, has announced the creation of 100 new jobs by establishing its subsidiary for the production of bricks - Leier Baustoffe SK - in Petrovany nearby Prešov. This new greenfield investment is worth about SKK 450 million (EUR 14.9 million). More than half of the new jobs will be for low qualified employees in a region with high unemployment rate. The new factory is expected to be operational in October 2008 with full production capacity of 160 million bricks per year.
