European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The pharmaceutical group UCB, announced significant job losses in Belgium and in the world. In Belgium, both plants of Brussels and Braine-L'Alleud are concerned with anticipated job losses of 130 employees and 425 respectively. The job cuts are part of a worldwide restructuring process involving 2400 jobs losses and the creation of 400 new ones in other UCB plants.
