Description
Orrefors Kosta Boda is a glassworks group, owned by the New Wave Group. They produce and sell handmade glass for everyday use as well as art objects. Currency fluctuations, recession in general and in the USA in particular, increased costs in energy, wages, interest rates and production, increased store levels and decreased sales levels are all factors that contribute to the company decision to reduce the workforce by 100 employees in Kosta and Orrefors. The reductions will be completed in mid 2009.
