European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Travel company BCD Holding announced on 30 September 2008 that it is to cut between 750 and 1,050 employees out of a total of 15,000. The job losses are attributed to the slowdown of the global economy. BCD Holdings is a family-owned company, with facilities in 30 countries and activities in 90 countries. Turnover is around $ 15 billion per year.
