European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
French property company Celeos, which was placed in compulsory administration in September 2008, is to cut 247 staff from a total of 460, between October and December 2008, closing five regional offices and 12 agencies from a total of 22. Celeos is under observation for a period of six months. Most of the cuts are to be made at its site in Plerin (Côtes-d'Armor in West), where the company's head office is located. Subcontractors are concerned about the consequences of the company's difficulties, since it has 70 property programmes in existence.
