European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Gislaved Gummi AB, a global polymer specialist, is to lay off 43 employees at its Gislaved unit. Gislaved Gummi AB specialises in three product areas: gaskets for plate heat exchangers, customized rubber compounds and extruded profiles. Its customers are mostly big international corporations. The company has announced the loss of 43 jobs at their Gislaved unit. The decreases in staff are explained by the CEO as a necessary measure to ensure further profitability.
