Restructuring events
European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 1 October 2008, the French group Alstom, manufacturer of equipment for power generation and rail transport, announced an investment of 20 million EUR in a new plant in south of Bucharest. The new plant, which will be operational in approximately 18 months, will create 700 new jobs. With this expansion, the company expects to double its turnover over the next six years.
