Description
Gelsted Bygningsindustri, a producer of skylights owned by the Velux group, is to close with the 230 jobs in 2009. Consultations with the employees representatives have been going on during most October, but in the end the management decided to close the plant due to the recession. 50 employees will be hired in other Velux companies and for the rest the management will secure economic support regarding employment opportunities and training.
