European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lannet Communications, a company specialised in fixed telephony, internet access and broadband services, is to dismiss 120 employees, unless the company comes under the bankruptcy code.
According to the source (November 20th, 2008) the 120 employees of Lannet Communications not only remain unpaid for the last 2 months but face the immediate danger to lose their jobs in case that the company will not be brought under the bankruptcy code.
Lannet Communication is a member of Lanara's Group offering a variety of services (fixed telephony, internet access, broadband services) and a network of partners all over Greece. It was the first Greek company to implement interconnection with the local Public Telecom carrier (OTE).
