European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Paged Meble – the producer of furniture, bitboard, veneer materials, and plywood – plans to shed 700 jobs out of an aggregate workforce of 1,800 at its factory in Jasienica by Bielsko-Biała by the end of March 2009. The reason of sheding of 700 jobs is falling in orders for the company's products. It happenes in most of the companies which are planning the reduction in employment level.
