European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
NSK, a manufacturer of rolling bearings, automotive components and mechatronic products, plans to cut 200 jobs (out of 600) starting from January 2009. The job cuts are attributed to the sharp fall in orders for the company's products.
