Description
BE Group, a leading trading and service company offering a broad range of steel, stainless steel and aluminium, is to cut about 120 jobs primarily in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Latvia. The job reduction stems from the implementation of a cost-saving programme to face reduced demand and uncertain market prospects. In doing so, the company aims at reducing total annual costs by approximately SEK 100 million over a two-year period. Negotiations with trade unions have started.
BE Group offers value-adding distribution and pre-processing of steel, stainless steel and aluminium to construction and engineering industries. The company BE Group is operating in ten countries in northern, central and eastern Europe.
